Welcome to a special edition of Virtual Violet. It’s Foundation February! Let’s kick off the month dedicated to hearts and love songs by celebrating the heart of Sigma Kappa.

In this issue, we will travel to Colby College and the Maine Sea Coast Mission with Ann O’Connell, foundation trustee. Sigma Kappa Foundation donors and trustees were able to experience the opportunity of a lifetime. They walked the streets where our founders walked together and visited the campus where they sat in classes as pioneers. Our founders left us a legacy of service of which Sigma Kappas everywhere can be proud. This issue is dedicated to that legacy.

Alumnae Update:

We are kicking off our first alumnae dues drive this month!

What is an alumnae dues drive?
Great question! As collegians, we paid dues to ensure that the national organization and our local chapter could operate. As alumnae, the national organization still relies on our dues in order to operate, grow and offer amazing opportunities for alumnae and collegians. The annual dues drive is a reminder to us all that Sigma Kappa is for a lifetime.
