Privacy Policy

Our relationship with you, our alumnae, requires trust and accountability. To support that relationship, Sigma Kappa is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information.

Question: Will I receive email from Sigma Kappa?
Answer: Yes! We will be sending you information that we hope will be useful and relevant to you through Virtual Violet, only for Sigma Kappa alumnae.

After you provide us your email address, we will begin to send you a free subscription to Virtual Violet with news and information about Sigma Kappa. We will never send more than one Virtual Violet per month, and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Also included in Virtual Violet will be links to other Sigma Kappa alumnae; these links will allow you to email your sorority sisters and them to email you. The directory is organized and can be searched by chapter of initiation. Commercial solicitations are NOT permitted using the web-based alumnae email.

Question: What kind of technology do you use in the emails you send me?
Answer: Our emails to you include a hyperlink to the current issue of Virtual Violet.

Question: Will I ever receive unsolicited email (spam) because of the information I provide to Sigma Kappa?
Answer: No! Absolutely not! Sigma Kappa does not tolerate spam of any kind, and we will never sell our email list to anyone.

If you believe you have been "spammed" as a result of information you provided for Virtual Violet, please contact us at virtualviolet@sigmakappa.org.
