Seventy-five Years of Sisterhood
Katherine Dunn Lathrop, Epsilon, Syracuse University, is a shining example of how Sigma Kappa truly is for a lifetime. Katherine was initiated in 1937 and since her graduation continued to be involved as an alumnae volunteer. In 1954, she served on Sigma Kappa's national council as the vice president in charge of alumnae.

discounted registration fees for Thursday through Saturday, Thursday’s Building Our Legacy
luncheon, Friday’s Leadership for Life luncheon and Confirmed Conventionite Celebration.
Additional meals and hotel accommodations may be added if needed.
Leadership for Life Weekend Package: This package is an exclusive weekend package for alumnae (non-delegates) and includes discounted registration fees for Friday through Sunday, Friday’s Leadership for Life luncheon and Confirmed Conventionite Celebration, and Saturday’s Achievement Banquet. Additional meals and hotel accommodations may be added if needed.
Director of Public Relations Volunteer Position Available
Sigma Kappa is seeking a volunteer who is creative and has strong writing skills for the position of Director of Public Relations. This volunteer will manage implementation of the communication and public relations plan for the Sorority.
Major Responsibilities:
Oversee an ongoing comprehensive public relations plan for the Sorority.
Educate the Sigma Kappa membership on the benefits, importance, and proper use of Sigma Kappa’s visual identity.
Participate in the creation of all visual media that are representative of the Sorority.
Educate the Sigma Kappa membership on the benefits, importance, and methods of positive public relations.
Write and/or edit all Sorority press releases.
Skills and Knowledge Desired:
Good writing skills.
Creativity in writing articles and messages.
Good communication and people skills.
Experience and knowledge of PR tools and techniques.

Director of Member Communication Volunteer Position Available
Sigma Kappa is seeking a volunteer who is creative and has strong writing skills for the position of Director of Member Communication. This volunteer will be responsible for promoting the Sigma Kappa brand internally.
Major Responsibilities:
Develop and administer an ongoing member communication plan for the Sorority that seeks to engage all members.
Coordinate content and oversee layout and editing of monthly member e-newsletter.
Review and edit general communication pieces as needed.
Assist in the development of outreach strategies and materials aimed at maintaining positive relations with current members and volunteers.
Participate in the planning and oversight of major communication team projects that impact the membership.

Creativity in writing articles and messages.
Good communication and people skills.
Experience and knowledge of PR tools and techniques.
