Meet the Alumnae Team

National Vice President for Alumnae
Works directly with the alumnae national officers in:
- • The promotion of a lifetime commitment to Sigma Kappa by all collegians and alumnae members.
• The establishment of new alumnae chapters and clubs.
• Assisting existing alumnae chapters and clubs in increasing their membership.
Planning significant and meaningful alumnae programs:
- • Plans, with the alumnae program director and the alumnae district directors, convention workshops for alumnae.
• Oversees the training of alumnae national officers.
• Encourages seniors to become participating alumnae and members of an alumnae chapter via the New Alumnae Welcome information, Sigma Kappa Triangle articles and written communication.
Alumnae District Directors
Educates membership about alumnae initiate opportunities; Submits, on an on-going basis, programming ideas to the director of alumnae programming; Receives, studies and responds to all reports from respective chapters and clubs.
Other Alumnae Directors
The remaining Alumnae Team consists of four more directors. The Director of Alumnae Expansion: Works to increase membership in exsisting alumnae chapters/clubs; Works to increase the number of alumnae chapter/clubs; Keeps alumnae chapter/clubs informed on ideas and resources available to them regarding alumnae recruitment. The Director of Alumnae Programming: Serves as an advisor to alumnae chapter officers on issues related to member development and programming opportunities; Coordinates and communicates all educational and training materials in the area of alumnae programming through the development and continued update of the Promise for Alumnae Members programming manual; Develops programs to be presented at appropriate alumnae occasions for the Promise for Alumnae Members programming manual. The Director of Alumnae Recruitment: Coordinates and promotes the use of the alumnae initiate program; Works to inform Sigma Kappa membership about the honor initiate program; Coordinates the national volunteer recruitment program; Works to identify Sigma Kappa representation for alumnae Panhellenic associations. The Director of Alumnae/Collegiate Relations: Serves as the alumnae/collegiate officer and promotes the benefits of lifelong membership; Coordinates educational and training materials in the area of alumnae/collegiate relations; Keeps alumnae and collegiate chapters informed of ideas and resources available to them; Works with the alumnae district directors to encourage alumnae chapter Panhellenic delegates to secure recruitment introductions from area city Panhellenic applications, alumnae chapter members, and area alumnae; Receives alumnae chapter/club, collegiate chapter, and member-at-large correspondence, etc., regarding the recruitment introduction program and promptly acknowledges the same information.
