The month of November is an especially sentimental time for Sigma Kappas across the world. In November, we take a moment to reflect on what Sigma Kappa is, where it has come from and where it is going.
Who would have imagined we would have more than 145,000 members and welcome more than 3,500 women into the mystic bond each year? Our Founders did. They believed it was possible and shared that dream with each of us.

Military Alumnae Chapter
Are you in the military or affiliated with the military? Do you want to become involved in an alumnae chapter? The Sigma Kappa alumnae team has more than 35 alumnae members creating a military alumnae chapter. For more information, contact Mary Ellen Elkins, director of alumnae expansion.
YouTube Values Video Contest
Do you live your values every day? Does your alumnae chapter plan events focused on Sigma Kappa's values? If so, consider submitting videos for our YouTube Values Video Contest. The first deadline is midnight on December 1 for a video portraying our service value. Upload your video to Sigma Kappa's YouTube channel and/or send the video to Brianne Dimmitt, associate director of publications.
Editorial Assistant
Sigma Kappa is seeking a volunteer with strong writing and editing skills for the position of editorial assistant. The editorial assistant will proofread, review, and edit various communication materials for the Sorority.
Specifically:
Proofread, review and edit print and digital media for accurate use of grammar, context and consistency, and correct any grammatical, typographical or compositional errors.
Enhance digital media text, with a special eye to tightening language and flow and effective formatting.
